Keiichi Morisato is trying to order noodles when he ends up misdialing and accidentally calling none other than the Goddess Relief Office. As a result of his call, the beautiful goddess Bellandy appears before him and offers to grant him a single wish. Keiichi finds the ethereal creature attractive, to say the least, and blurts his wish for her to stay with him forever. And just like that, the wish is granted. It may seem like a fantasy come true for the young man, but in reality, it creates a somewhat complicated mess for Keiichi, especially when Bellandys sisters Urd and Skuld show up to live with them. The focus on romance in Oh My Goddess! sometimes leads to it being incorrectly labeled as a Shoujo anime, but this series is distinctly Seinen, with a heavy focus on the perspective of Keiichi, an adult man. Oh My Goddess! is also, however, distinct in its tastefulness within the subcategory of magical girlfriends in anime, featuring little to no fan-service. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide
