Jeanettes (Valerie Niehaus) survival of a brutal serial killers attack is bittersweet--granted, she escaped with her own life, but her parents were not so lucky. Traumatized, Jeanette spends most of her adolescence in a mental institution. Once released, she finds a job tutoring a group of priviledged teens, and thinks she may be ready to begin a relatively normal life. To her horror, however, it isnt long before people start getting murdered at an alarming rate, and Jeanette begins to suspect that the person who couldnt kill her years ago has returned in hopes of correcting the oversight.
