This animated adaptation of the childrens book by Barbara M. Joosse follows a young Inuit girl named Nyla as she searches for her lost puppy amidst the beautiful but dangerous plains of the Arctic. Nyla disobeys her mother and sets out to find the dog among the deadly ice flows at the outskirts of the village, and she soon begins to fear that shes violated her mothers trust forever.
