In this light-hearted animated adventure story, a humble tree frog named Jonathan moves to the Rainbow Pond, where he soon falls in love with another frog named Pookie. However, finding happiness with Pookie isnt as easy as me might have hoped; while having to fend for himself against the cats, snakes, and other predators of the pond, Jonathan also has to win the approval of the leader of the ponds animal community, King Leopold, and must learn to accept himself as well. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
