African musician and singer Baaba Maal and his band, Daande Lenol, perform during this concert filmed at Londons Royal Festival Hall. Afro-pop sounds are mixed with Senegalese rhythms as the singers, musicians, and dancers create a colorful stage show. The music features such melodic instruments as the ngoni (lute), balafon (marimba), and kora (harp-guitar).
